We do not ask for special categories of personal data through the website.
3. Contact and project enquiries
When you contact us or submit a project enquiry, we use your data to:
- assess your enquiry;
- communicate with you;
- select suitable production partners;
- assess prices, production options and available capacity;
- prepare a quotation or proposal;
- should you decide to proceed, prepare the business relationship and perform the order.
Depending on the situation, this processing takes place because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, or on the basis of N-Essential's legitimate interest in handling enquiries from business contacts.
4. FlexCapacity
When you register your company for FlexCapacity, we use the information you provide to assess your company's production needs and technical requirements.
This information may be used to assess in advance which manufacturers and production capacity in our network may meet your needs.
Registration is without obligation and does not automatically lead to a contract or an order.
Where this involves personal data of contact persons, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in managing our business network, selecting suitable production partners and handling future business enquiries efficiently.
5. Sharing with production partners
Where necessary to assess your enquiry, we may share relevant project information with one or more selected production partners.
In doing so, we share personal data only to the extent necessary, for example for:

- cost calculation;
- preparing a quotation;
- quality control;
- project execution;
- logistics coordination.
We do not sell your personal data.
Wherever possible, we share only the contact and project information needed for the enquiry in question.
6. Other recipients and service providers
For our operations we may use external service providers, among others in the following areas:
- website hosting;

Where an external party processes personal data on behalf of N-Essential, we conclude a data processing agreement with that party where required.
7. Retention periods
We do not keep personal data longer than is necessary for the purpose of the processing.
As a general rule, we apply the following retention periods:
- Contact enquiries that do not lead to an order: no longer than 24 months after the last substantive contact.
- FlexCapacity registrations: for as long as the registration is relevant to possible business cooperation. We periodically review whether the data is still current and necessary.
- Project and client data: for the duration of the business relationship and thereafter for as long as necessary for administration, handling any claims and meeting legal obligations.
Where laws or regulations require a longer retention period, we apply that period.
You can ask us to delete your personal data at any time. We assess the request in line with the applicable privacy legislation.
8. Security
N-Essential takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, unauthorised access, unauthorised alteration or other unlawful processing.
The measures taken are matched to the nature of the data and the risks of the processing.

Personal data may therefore be processed and shared within the European Economic Area where necessary for our services.
Where we process or have personal data processed outside the European Economic Area, we ensure an appropriate legal basis and appropriate safeguards where required.
